It will be a special day to remember our great friend - Ron Cameron. The Remembering Ron Cameron Golf Outing will be held at Loch Nairn Golf Club, Avondale, PA on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 with registration at 11:30 am and a shotgun start promptly at 12:30 pm. The reception begins at 6:00 pm with dinner at 7:00pm and awards and prizes to follow. Loch Nairn is a public facility located 514 McCue Road, Avondale, PA 19311, 5 miles south of Longwood Gardens just off Route 1. This championship shot makers course with tree lined fairways, wetlands, streams and lakes demands precision shots to interesting undulating bent grass greens. The entry fee for the outing is $150 per golfer. This fee includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch and beverage, beer and water on course, cocktail reception, buffet dinner, awards, prizes and day that promises to be filled with fun and laughter as it always is. You do not need a foursome to register, single registrants are welcome. Format will be "best ball", so even if you've never played golf before you can participate and have a good time. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places as well as high score, longest drive, closest to the pin. There will also be prize opportunities on several par 3 holes for a hole-in-one. For the non-golfer who wants to join us after golf for the reception and the buffet dinner the cost is $50. All proceeds benefit the Ron Cameron Foundation and go towards the Ron Cameron Memorial Scholarship Fund. Click here to print a Registration Form or link to the secure Online Registration page. Inclement Weather Policy In the event of inclement weather on the day of the outing resulting in suspension of play (lightning is the only probable condition), we will post a notice on the website and call the person listed as the contact person on each registration. The cocktail reception and dinner will be held, as scheduled regardless as the food is pre-ordered, and we will honor the scholarship award winner and remember Ron. Golf will be postponed until the rain date, which is set for July 28, 2008 with 11:30 am registration and 12:30 pm shotgun start. We will play the round of golf (with the obligatory course beverages), award the prizes, and remember Ron again.
